Lawyer admitted to practice in Paris and Cameroon, Flora Wamba is a Partner at the law firm.

Her practice focuses on insurance and transport law, commercial contracts, litigation, arbitration and social law.

Flora Wamba has gained an extensive experience in insurance and commercial law at the Paris based Granrut law firm. She works closely as an advisor in transactional and litigation matters for insurance and reinsurance companies.

She has also worked for Gide Loyrette Nouel law firm and Ernst & Young in Paris, and respectively in the insurance and the legal departments of Suez Environment and the insurance company GMF VIE.

Flora Wamba holds a double major Master’s Degree in Insurance Law and International Business Law from the University of Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne. She also holds a Bachelor degree in Private Law from the University of Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne. She is fluent in both English and French.

Litigation before state courts concerning the execution of insurance contracts, investments in toxic or fraudulent funds, the banker's and insurer's duty to inform and advise.

Litigation before arbitration courts, particularly within the framework of a partnership between two French insurers having set up a joint venture for the marketing of insurance contracts in Vietnam.

The compliance and audit of insurance contracts.

The negotiation of several confidential agreements protocols in the context of commercial disputes between insurance companies and their various trading partners.

The incorporation of various companies under French law.

The structuring of individual and collective working relationships within several companies.

The negotiation of the acquisition and/or sale of unlisted companies.

Detachments within insurance companies operating in France and Luxembourg.

The advising of foreign companies, including Luxembourg ones, in the marketing of their insurance contracts in free provision of services.

She has also worked for Gide Loyrette Nouel law firm and Ernst & Young in Paris, and respectively in the insurance and the legal departments of Suez Environment and the insurance company GMF VIE. She has organized and presented several training sessions on the following topics:

  • The customers protection, for L’Argus de l’Assurance;
  • Anti-money laundering and impact on the life insurance contract, with insurance
    companies.
